APOS SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
There are many opportunities available for individual and corporate partnering and sponsorship to assist APOS and promote the responsible stewardship of our wild resources and the preservation of our Alberta Hunting Heritage. In addition to sponsorship for regular APOS Events (Convention, Golf Tournament, Sporting Clays) we require support for the conservation and research efforts of the APOS Legacy Fund.
The Legacy Fund is funded by surpluses developed through our Annual convention and by individual and corporate donations. The Legacy Fund is not registered as a charity and APOS can not issue charitable tax receipts for donations, but we do have a number of ways to work with and recognize our partners.
Some opportunities are:
Convention Sponsorship
The annual APOS Convention in December is our BIG event and the largest congregation of Outfitters in Alberta. Typically we need sponsorship for meals and coffee breaks, speakers, and entertainment. We also need donations of silent and live auction items such as hunts, fishing trips, guns, premium knives, vacation prizes, etc. All sponsors and major donors are recognized at the Convention and in the monthly APOS newsletter. At certain levels recognition is also given in the APOS Magazine, our annul Outfitter directory. Sponsors and donors are very welcome to attend the Convention.
Please see the Convention Sponsor form.

Golf Sponsorship
The Annual APOS Golf Tournament is an excellent opportunity to participate in the networking, fun golf, and fellowship that over 100 Outfitters getting together in the summer can create. First - please feel most welcome to register as a golfer and bring your friends with you! Second, we really appreciate prize donations of all types for the prize tables and there are opportunities to sponsor each of the 18 holes, create drink or food holes, or provide super prizes for Hole-In-One holes.
Please see the Golf Sponsor form.
Sporting Clays Sponsorship
APOS partners with the Northern Alberta Chapter of Safari Club International to produce an annual Sporting Clays event at Beaverhill Sporting Clays each June. Your participation is most wanted. Even if you’ve never played sporting clays you can have a fun and safe experience as we’ll team you up with a mentor for the day. We appreciate donations of prizes for the prize table, major prizes for individual scores, and financial donations to help defray facility costs.
Special Project Sponsorship
Financial donations or donations of hunts, equipment, and art that can be then auctioned, assist the APOS Legacy Fund to contribute to conservation and research projects that will impact the wild lands and wildlife in Alberta, and are greatly appreciated.
